I want to thank everyone for your good wishes and kind words. First of all, Mocha (our 11 year old Tibetan Terrier) is doing much better. Her appetite is back and so is her spunk! She needs further tests on her liver and pancreas – wish us luck! As for me, I am fine and back at the shop.

ย I fell in love with the blues, greens and grays of this painting. Not that art should match furniture, but I think this painting is in perfect harmony with Swedish painted furniture.

Oh, I am so glad Mocha is better: our dog also went through so many tests and eventually ended up having a shot once a week for years (she loved….it: lots of attention!!) But it's so hard on everyone.

I just read about Mocha! Our dog Ralph isn't doing well neither. He has a heart disease that is inherent to cavalier king charles! But he is only 5 years old! I do have to give him lots of medication and since a couple of weeks he is feeling better!I do hope that he can stay with us for a while! We have all so much sorrow as Ralph is a member of our family!

I have become a little obsessed lately with landscape paintings. I have started to collect a few. They are never expensive. I found mine at consignment stores, antique shops and even at Goodwill. HI Loi, Naughty moi. I have never looked at your blog before. Had no idea you were in Washington, DC. Always thought you were in Houston down near Joni. I was in Washington two weeks ago on business. Had I known, I would have visited your store – next trip!
Also have never entered a give-away before, but the painting REALLY speaks to me. Have a perfect spot for it in a guest room that I am re-doing in aqua, cream and gold. The style of the painting looks so French to me.
Sorry about Mocha's illness. We lost one of our beloved Cavalier Spaniels to pancreatitus 15 years ago and it still hurts. Happy to hear that she is doing better. Sounds like you got her into treatment in time.
