Hello ~
We made it: spring at last! After a long, cold winter, this gardener is elated to see signs of spring – from the return of the songbirds to the earliest daffodils blooming cheerfully. I welcome the warmth of the sunshine melting the last patches of snow. Winter be gone!
As if this lovely first weekend of spring wasn’t enough, I’m thrilled to report that our garden is featured in the April 2014 issue of Southern Living! Many thanks to Southern Living for making this spring even more special. I am so grateful for their continued support – check out my topiaries here, here and here. Also, read about our shop here.Garden Editor Rebecca Bull Reed sensitively captured the spirit and soul of our garden. That’s because Rebecca is an accomplished and enthusiastic horticulturalist who thoroughly understands the challenges and rewards of gardening. And you know the adage “a photo is worth a thousand words,” well, photographer Helen Norman’s brilliant photos are beyond words. Helen can make even a dreaded dandelion look like the jewel of the garden – she’s that good, and her passion for her craft shows. Thank you, Rebecca and Helen!
The article is presented as five separate sections with design ideas, informative tips and plant recommendations for a tone-on-tone garden. Enjoy these beautiful photos taken by Helen throughout spring and summer of 2013.
An early spring shot with fresh new growth on the English boxwood balls and low yew hedge behind. The four urns are planted with white pansies.
Two views of the front lawn showing the eight freshly sheared European hornbeams anchoring each end of the garden. Tom does an amazing job of shaping these 16 trees!
A better look at the chartreuse yew hedge which will darken to a deep green, becoming a dramatic backdrop for the white roses.
From the front loggia, a view of the birdbath surrounded by more English box and white alliums.
The same parterre as viewed from the small courtyard.
Two stunning portraits by Helen Norman – these are among my favorites!!
During summer, I replace the pansies in the urns with petunias. The Annabelle hydrangeas are especially beautiful in June.
This is the white border garden on the north side of the house. In spring, the azaleas and alliums look so fresh with their white blooms.
In summer, this white border is at its peak with a showstopping display of white daisies, hydrangeas, irises, lilies and phlox.
ABOVE: Long after the flowers fade, I keep the allium seed pods around for texture, height and drama. BELOW: Asiatic lilies are both pretty and fragrant.
ABOVE: David phlox is a prolific blooming perennial.
Looking down the white border. This intimate garden is adorned with some of my favorite ornaments such as the cloches, sundial and obelisk.
A second flush of blooms from clematis Miss Bateman.
Tucked among dusty millers and phlox is a simple granite sundial. In an all white garden, foliage is especially important. Combine silvery, gray and variegated foliage for texture and interest.
The fuzzy gray foliage of Lamb’s ears (above) and variegated lamium (below) are must-haves in the white garden.
There are many more photos which I’m saving for another post. I hope you’ll pick up the April 2014 Southern Living issue!
Happy planting!!
Loi
And I have – your garden is GORGEOUS!! I am the biggest fan of boxwood and white gardens and cannot get over how perfect every square inch is. Phlox and hydrangea are two of my most favorite flowering whites and yours are amazing!! Just love when I open my Southern Livings and see a house and garden that I know!! A favor – would you mind updating our link on your site? We have updated to wordpress and the link has changed. Thank you ever so much – happy weekend!!
Wow! This garden is beautiful! I see a lot of amazing looking trees. I have to buy 'Southern Living'. Thanks for sharing.

absolutely stunning, loi. the garden and the photography. I look forward to my SL issue….donna
Loi, I was just looking at my issue. Simply gorgeous garden.
Loi, congratulations on the feature. Your garden is amazing. Every inch looks like it was created with love.
Loi,
Congratulations on being published again. Your home is so beautiful, majestic and proud. The gardens are breathtaking, Tom does an amazing job at manicuring the boxwood. I have such a tiny lawn being in the city but I too manicure and adore my boxwoods. Your photos are excellent and took me through your gorgeous gardens with a smile and sigh of appreciation.
Happy Spring,
Vera
B E A U T I F U L ! Your garden is absolutely gorgeous! The pictures are very well done, they make me long for spring and green….
Thank you so much for sharing!
I could look at your garden all day. Congrats on having it published. I will make sure to pick up the issue. I love how you prune your English boxwoods as individual plants that form a hedge rather than allow them to merge into a consolidated hedge. Everything is so beautiful.
Thanks for noticing the form of the boxwood hedge. We love it when the box balls touch, and we like to retain the form of the individual shrubs.
What a beautiful garden, thanks for sharing it with us.
Have a nice weekend.
Congratulations on the feature Loi. Your garden is absolutely stunning!! Love, love, love!!
Have a great weekend!
Hugs,
Vesna
Beautiful garden! You are very talented.
Congratulations. The garden looks so lovely and calm. I love the clipped hornbeam hedge — I am a little fixated on hornbeam these days. I hope your spring weather really sticks this time.
Thanks, Cindy. More snow tomorrow, unfortunately 🙁
WOW!!!!! LOI, I have been looking through every Southern Living magazine for weeks, because I had forgotten when you were supposed to be featured….YOU ARE IN IT FINALLY!
You don't know how thrilled I am at this moment, with it being in the teens outside on this Saturday morning. We are a few weeks behind you, but we are crawling on all fours to catch up! After this winter, we feel like humble beasts on the earth! theeheh
Your boxwoods are lush. Oh my goodness, what is it that you possess dearest Loi, that makes my world turn upside down? A love for gentle landscapes of verdant gems, a gentleness in your home of quiet antiquity, and a kindness of your spirit. Thank you for this stroll into your paradise. I am running out to get the magazine! And me too Loi, I am finally published in a magazine and now am contributing writer of Scarlet Pink. The first issue features my art work that I no longer sell, but it is my first in a printed publication. The mag is going to switch styles now, and I hope it will mean I can help feature diverse artists and gardeners and people like you who deal with antiques and home style.
Your garden is a dream. HAPPY SATURDAY! Anita
Thanks, Anita. Many congratulations on Scarlet Pink! That is AMAZING news!!!
Hello Loi, I am really impressed with these Helen Norman photographs of your garden. While of course you created the setting, we are seeing this through Norman's eyes and interpretation. Like you, I particularly admire her flower portraits, and perhaps by studying them I can pick up a few photography pointers for myself.
Hi Loi,
Congratulations to you and on the beautiful article! The gardens are magnificent! I would love a personal tour someday! It would be such a pleasure to hear how the garden came to be and to hear about all of the plantings.
Best,
Michael
Definitely yes on the tour, Michael!! I will have you over when the garden is greener and weather nicer. Thanks!
Your garden and home are breath-taking! Can you please share how you keep your pea gravel walkway in place? Also, how do you shovel the snow off without taking up the gravel? Thanks, Maggie
Thanks, Maggie. The walkway is edged on both sides with a low metal guard. Once a year, we compact the pea gravel, course sand and fine sand mixture. Also, there is concrete under the gravel walkway – it really helps to have this hard foundation underneath. As for snow and shoveling, we are careful not to shovel all the way down. We let the sun melt the residue. And sometimes, the gravel and sand mixture is frozen hard. Great questions.
The last sentence s/b: And sometimes, the gravel and sand mixture is frozen solid.
You have created order, beauty, and inspiration. What an accomplishment. I can't wait to replace dead bushes, add more boxwood, and reorganize some annuals, all because of your inspiration. Thank you.
Lovely! You have an amazing garden, Loi. Congratulations on the feature in Southern Living!
Claudia
I just got my SL issue yesterday. There is so much beauty in your gardens but the European hornbeams are my favorite. It was nice to see these additional photos to round out the magazine article.
you have beautiful garden! May you enjoy many happy moments there!
SO stunning! Oh to have no deer that would feast on a beauty like that! Love all your choices, the Hydrangeas..I love and wish I could keep but they have been mowed down by those pesky deer asa well. I cant wait to see the issue!!
Wow, your house and garden are both breathtaking. So beautiful and elegant. You and Tom both live a life full of elegance and style. I will purchase the magazine for sure. Welcome back from Europe!
I'm so excited for you Loi! Congratulations! I am a subscriber to SL and just received my copy in the mail and haven't had a chance to look at it. You've put so much thought and effort into all of this.. it is truly amazing. Gorgeous photos! xxL
Doesn't it looks FABULOUS! Congratulation to Southern Living for these magnificent images, a perfect tribute to your wonderful garden!
HAPPY SPRING! And happy garden work 🙂 🙂
Now I'm encouraged to go back to my garden, back to cutting-pruning-weeding…….having "lawn" and order 🙂
Warmest spring greetings from the Périgord,
xox karin
Hi Loi, Congratulations! Your garden is so beautifully understated in green and white. Sophistication unparalleled!
xo
Holly
KUDOS!! Your boxwood are just wonderful!! franki
Thanks Loi for rubbing it in that I still have snow on the ground…….
What a mind blowingly beautiful garden.
Having suffered through several gardening photo shoots, I know what went into this.
Kudos!
well my friend, i am drooling in awe, your are a renaissance man, uber talented in many regards. yours and toms skill in the garden is rivaled by few. maybe a post on toms secrets pruning so skillfully? congratulations dear loi, well deserved recognition.
yes, the eye of the southern living staff is masterful indeed, clearly unprecedented.
in particular, am loving the two end corners awash in dusty miller and how one's eye travels down the border then stops to pause. however i could go on and on as each image sets my heart aflutter!
have a friend with a formal white garden and if i can explain this properly, creates magic with her spent allium heads; leaving them intact, she slips a paper plate with a hole in the center and a slit, at the base of each allium head. she then spray paints each head white. not solid, but with a delicate hand. she goes from allium to allium. the effect is magical by day and positively glows in the evening.
now off to find the current issue
cheers
debra
I'd love to see these spray-painted allium, Debra. Photos on your blog, please!
WOW – the painted alliums sound amazing!!! What a cool idea. Thanks, Debra!!
When I opened this month's issue I was so excited. I live nearby and love to take a peak at your stunning garden while on walks. I love everything about it. Just beautiful.
Thanks! Next time you see us outside, please say "hi" 🙂
PEE GREEN with ENVY!STUNNING…………I will run out and BUY the magazine!I do white and YELLOW…………..may I ask what white roses you have?My guess is ICEBERG.LOVE LOVE LOVE the whole GARDEN……………BRAVO!
Thank you!! We have "white out" shrub roses. Also, a few white carpet roses in the white border garden.
Where do I start? Your blog… this post…your garden… your home… your store… it's all so inspiring. Congratulations on the feature in Southern Living!!! I am going to the bookstore today to look for it. I hope they sell it in CA?! Happy Spring Loi!
xo
Serena
Congratulations, Loi! Your garden is beautiful, and gives me tons of ideas as I embark on my own gardening adventures.
Lots of hugs and good wishes,
Liliana
Loi, Loi, Loi! When do you find the time to do everything you do?
Your gardens are breathtaking! I am not a summer person, but I wouldn't be able to come inside!
Needless to say, I will be picking up a few copies of this issue, and CONGRATULATIONS!
Teresa
xoxo
Oh my, I'm just speechless! Those are the most gorgeous dandelions I've ever seen! All kidding aside. I can't think of enough superlatives to express my appreciation. Just reading Teresa's post above mine. Yes, how do you do it all? So happy for you Loi! xoxo, Laurel
Oh, Loi, how I do love white flowers! What an inspiration place your home and garden are to me. Everything is perfect, and we all know just how difficult this is to maintain. The vision you guys had in the beginning was awesome. And, Southern Living should have put your place in their magazine, any magazine would love having your home featured. Bravo! xx's
I am speechless at the beauty and scope of your garden. Love seems to be hiding in every corner. I can only imagine the many hours of devotion and joy that go into it's beautiful existence. Thank you for sharing this sacred spot.
xoxo Mary
Congratulations Loi! I just read the print article as I am a subscriber. Your gardens are truly stunning! And, how amazing to be featured in SL! Enjoy your weekend!!! xoxo
I'm a little bit too jealous to say anything nice!
Gorrrrrrrrrrrrgeous. I wish I had the discipline to stick to one color in the garden. They are always the gardens I choose, yet my own is allll over the place.
Loi, I am smiling, I am breathing more deeply and just enjoying my walk through your lovely garden. You have a wonderful talent to touch everything with beauty. Congratulations on being featured in Southern Living, so well deserved and all the readers are going to just love the information and beauty you have to offer,
Happy Weekend,
Kathysue
Loi,
As always I am in awe! I love everything! I will be using all of your images and notes to help with my white garden plantings this spring. I love the perfectly trimmed bushes.
Have a wonderful weekend!
best,
Christina
absolutely gorgeous!!! I am not sure where I can get that magazine in SF….but I will somehow!
Loi, these photos are just fantastic! If I wasn't excited for spring before, I certainly would be after checking out these shots of your amazing garden! Congratulations, and I'll have to go look for a copy of Southern Living. I'm especially inspired by the white and the box woods! We are just about to embark on a major overhaul to our small plot of city land, and I will be sending a link to this post to our landscape designer.
Thanks for the lovely garden tour. Thrilled for you!
Thanks, Jeanne! Good luck and have fun with your garden re-design.
Loi, I hadn't read this post yet. I received my Southern Living in the mail yesterday and just sat down to read it. Flipping through I saw a beautiful house and after a few second realized -this is Loi's home! Such a gorgeous spread. Congratulations. I love your home and the gardens. Each of the yards is so pretty. You have inspired me to start my gardening and yard early this year. I love the front porch and all your French doors too! So excited for you and it couldn't happen to a more talented or nicer person! x Kim
Absolutely beautiful, Loi! Can't wait to see the print version!! xoxo
Loi, Your garden looks more lush every time I see it! You appear to be living in an eden, and I'm glad the harsh winter didn't do any lasting damage. Confratulations on the Southern Living article! By the way, that's a great portrait of you in the store!
South Living have done a great job showing your garden in their magazine – it suddenly struck me today that your house is green and white too, I don't know why I hadn't realised it before. Do you have help in the garden Loi?
Tom and I do all the work. A couple times a year, we'll get someone to help with cleanup. But Tom and I do all the planting, pruning, weeding, dead-heading, watering, etc. Most of the beds have irrigation now.
Exciting! Thanks for reminding us, Loi. Though I don't buy many magazines since I began blogging, I am going to buy a copy of this one! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your garden. 🙂 This is so very well deserved.
-Revi
Oh Loi, these photos and your yard and home are idyllic. I have been outside repairing fences and gates today and our yard is in dire need of spring clean up; a daunting task ahead. Im afraid Gibbs trashed our pool yard this past year, so this is the year to amend it all. You are truly an inspiration to us all and congratulations on Southern Living! Welcome home and glad you're safe and sound. Can't wait to catch up soon. xox Nancy
Congratulations, Loi. I'm going to pick up that issue tomorrow. It will be fun for me to study the beautiful photographs the magazine captured. I've made a list of the plants you've listed. I have some of the basics, but you've given me ideas for further wonderful white color and lush greenery.
I'm so impressed that Tom trims the many boxwoods in your yard. I confess, I've tried my hand at the trimming and have given up. Thank goodness my gardener masterfully keeps my boxwood and ligustrom hedges in order.
What a wonderful post for all of us eager for spring this year.
xo,
Karen
Wow! Congrats on the magazine feature! How exciting! Your house is simply gorgeous
How beautiful the house looks in the dappled sunlight. Your inclusion in Southern Living is so well deserved. That garden did not create itself.
I am delighted for you Loi 🙂
Di
xoxo
Dear Loi
Thank you for the journey through your garden. I could quite happily hide out here for the entire summer. Congratulations on being in Southern Living and I shall pick up my copy early next week (when I get out from beneath my commissioned paintings).
I know a garden, such as yours, take up a great deal of time and love.
Have a wonderful weekend
Helen xx
Everything looks SOOO PRETTY!! Can't wait to see more of your photos and read the article in Southern Living! Barbara P from Ma
Oh Loi, it is beautiful! Congratulations, this is a well deserved honor. I am planting a white garden right now and I am so inspired, I've been debating on including allium, and now I will. You've made such beautiful choices of greenery. Congratulations again. xo, ebh
Absolutely beautiful, Loi! Looks like my idea of what heaven would be. Congratulations on your awesome feature!!!
How wonderful Loi! Your garden is delightful. I don't think I've ever seen such a crisply edited and well-behaved garden in my life. You truly are the decor and plant-whisperer extraordinaire. Everything you touch turns to perfection…I wish you could have helped me plan my wedding – haha.
xo Terri
Lovely jubbly!! If I had a garden here, this is how it would be planted. I am such a fan of hedging, and essentially monochrome colour schemes. It's so chic, (and French).
Well certainly a well deserved honor!! Congratulations! That must be so exciting for you……your gardens are incredible. So picture perfect and luscious and green….I almost forgot what green grass looks like! I love how manicured and crisp it feels…my favorite type of garden, you can totally see its a true labor of love. Wonderful!
Loi…congrats! Your home and gardens are gorgeous…I love the lighting in these photos…she did such a great job…it helps when your working with beauty…
Congratulations Loi! I can't wait to pick up a copy and see it all in print. How rewarding to receive this recognition. Well deserved indeed.
Happy spring to you….finally.
Sarah
Simply stunning Loi! Can't wait to pick up my copy & brag about you! Congratulations my friend. Much deserved!
Monica
Beautiful, Loi! I love everything about your gardens! Hopefully my issue will arrive soon!
Loi, your gardens are stunning. I cannot believe how beautiful and inviting! Thank you for sharing here and I am eagerly awaiting my SL issue!!
Congratulations!
Between the lilies, roses and stock, the fragrance must be heavenly.
That's it. I'm ripping out my entire garden and I'm starting from scratch. Not sure we can grow hornbeams up here but I want some. Really, really lovely!
Congratulations Loi! And of course, it is well deserved. I am certain Southern Living was thrilled to be able to photograph such a wonderful garden. Just looking at the photos makes me get Spring fever. It is still rather cold here in Michigan, although it was nice and sunny this past weekend.
Your garden is an inspiration! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
Susan xxoo
Beautiful. I love it so much Loi! so many things I'd love to do here at our house!
And how totally wonderful for you to have it featured in a magazine!
Congratulation Loi, I am so pleased for you. So richly deserved after all the hard work you have both put into creating such an exceptional haven of beauty. So inspiring, I am half tempted to call in the diggers to tear up my garden so that I can start again.
There are so many amazing images. I love the romantic alliums of picture No. 8 leaning into one another, picture No.14 is sublime and utterly dreamy and I would love to know what is on the rear of the garden gate in picture No. 8?
Bravo garden maestro, bravo!
Thanks so much, Paul 🙂 In picture #8, that is Virginia creeper climbing the stucco wall – to the right of the gate.
Wow. What a lovefest! Nicer words couldn't be shared with sweeter people. Any garden editor or photographer will tell you that the prettier the subject, the more stunning the story. THANK YOU Tom and Loi for making this such a fun and enjoyable shoot. FYI followers – I think their garden looks like this all the time – no really. Tom and Loi do an amazing job with not only design and planting, but also proper maintenance. Ok – I'm ready for your next creation! Helen and I are chomping at the bit.
Oh my gosh, thanks for the visit and kind words, my friend!!! We'll never forget the experience – very honored!!! Thank YOU, Rebecca! It was so fun working with you and Helen. xoxo, L
Elas crescem rápido e perde a forma. Nosso clima aqui é muito frio e chove muito pouco, com isso as plantas não florescem. Estou ansiosa esperando o novo post do jardim.
Bjos tenha uma ótima semana.
Your garden is so full of love.
pve
If I could choose any location in the world to wander with my morning coffee, I'd pick your garden at the peak of summer. Breathtaking! Following my caffeine–I'd be over the moon for a gardening lesson with you and Tom! XOXOXO–Am so excited for you–this feature is sublime!
This is so very beautiful Loi and the fact that you are featured in Southern Living doesn't surprise at all! I think you and Tom have made the garden of everyone's dreams here. I know only too well the hard work and dedication it takes to make any garden look, and remain, beautiful year after year. Sadly I'm not keeping up anymore………………..mine is turning into a 'secret garden', my lame excuse for overgrown and perhaps in need of professional care now as we find it hard going on the old backs and knees!
Congratulations – I will definitely be at the bookstore this week in search of the magazine…….hope all your other fans haven't cleaned it out!
Happy week ahead – I see bright green buds at the bottom of the hydrangeas and have plenty of daffodil and galanthus blooming – also creeping phlox. So Spring is starting to be kind at long last.
Mary
Loi, I was dancing around with excitement when my Southern Living magazine arrived and I found the article about your home. I had forgotten that your home was to be featured at some point…it was all so long ago. As soon as I turned the page and saw your beautiful home, I gasped. Wait a minute…says ME…I KNOW this house. Yippee, it's my friend, Loi. It's a wonderful article, and you and Tom deserve the accolades for a job well done !! The lovely pictures of your garden are just what I need to lead me by the hand into Spring. This has been a long and tiresome winter and I shall dream of warm days sitting in the splendor of your welcoming garden. Great job my friend.
Terri
oh loi! your gardens and images bring new meaning to the phrase 'earth is crammed with heaven!' while i'm not religious, i remain a spiritual soul sensitive to beauty which connects us to sacredness, and this does it for me. it's breathtaking and soothing nature for a girl too often stuck in the weariness and frantic pace of the other side of eden. thanks for sharing this with the magazine and us, you lovely lovely man.
michele
An oasis of beauty, Loi!
Your garden is the perfect setting for your handsome house. The limited pallet is very effective.
I particularly love your thoughtful balance of clipped formality followed by lushly intimate spaces.
Masterful!
Happy gardening!
Suzanne
bravo loi bravo! your yard is so deserving of a full feature and im glad you got it! i bet its simply delightful right when everything just bursts open at the start of spring!
Stunning…and no surprise! I can't wait to see all of this beauty in glossy print! Thanks for the sneak peek! I'm with you on saying "Winter be gone!" So over it! The daffodils are heralding the coming of spring here in Franklin, and I'm perking up right along with their sunny yellow faces! P.S. As of today, I'm blogging as Bravehearted Beauty instead of LLH Designs. Thought I'd let you know so you aren't confused! Blessings to you this spring!
I have no words……breathtaking! X Sharon
Loi, your landscape/garden is so surreal! I am always on awe when I see pictures! I can imagine your gardening hands have been itching to work their magic. A well deserved feature my friend. You are an inspiration. Congratulations!! xx
Your garden is beautiful! I was wondering if you could share how you keep your Annabelle Hydrangea from falling over?
Thank you, Susan
Great question, Susan. I do not cut back the Annabelles as much as I used to. I leave a good part of the old woody stems, which is stronger than new growth. Also, I selectively stake a few inside stems – not many. Hope this helps.
Loi you are truly and inspiration and incredibly artistic inside and out! I hope you enjoy the cherry blossoms!
What a beautiful garden, Loi! Our black thumbs are envious of your gift of gardening… We especially love Helen's lovely floral portraits which showcase every bloom at its best. This issue of Southern Living is a keeper!
xxoo
C + C
FABULOUS!
What a beautiful garden! There are so many elements that I love. Congratulations on the feature in Southern Living!
Congratulations on the very well-deserved publication, Loi. Your garden is the stuff of dreams and had there not been as many pictures, I'd believe it really is a dream. Can I ask, how often do you and Tom weed/replant/mulch, etc? Every weekend? A few mornings each week? I'd love to know as, this coming year, I'd like to really add more curb appeal to our garden.
Your garden is breathtaking!! I want to stroll around the garden wearing a flimsy white dress with the hushed sound of servants setting up a formal picnic in the background. Maybe a string quartet too. Just beautiful, how lucky you are to live here!
Loi – there are no words that will do this post justice. your gardens are simply stunning. I love the white and green theme. I am a lover of alliums and your white ones are gorgeous. I have purple ones in my front garden bc its the only thing deer will not easy. congrats to you on the southern living spread! xo
Congratulations Loi!!! Nothing surprises me when it comes to your brilliance… everything is perfection!!! You always lift and inspire on every level!
xo
Desiree
Hi Loi – Beautiful, stunning garden. You and Tom do amazing work! Congrats on being featured in Southern Living.
Deborah
My dear Loi,
Congratulations on the Southern Living feature! Both you and Tom are so very talented in so many ways that you make it seem as if this paradise simply showed up in your garden one day, looking lush and lovely and magical! But, we are all aware of how much hard work and devotion and planning go into achieving a garden of such brilliance and beauty. Green and white and tones of these two hues never looked so perfect! Thanks for sharing these spectacular photos of your floral, fairy tale treasure!
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
xo
Poppy
We just bought ahome in the South so I might have picked up the magazine anyway, but I am so happy to see your lush garden on a big screen! Thank you for sharing with us! Stunning!!!
What TALENT! I'm putting together a garden now in a property that mostly is a raggy sweet chestnut forest. The previous owners who built the house put in some great plants, but bunched them together too closely. We have some horizontal growing junipers that adds a lot of drama at the end of the driveway. I'm trying…..I wish I had your vision, Loi – breathtaking. Job well done!
How lucky you are to have spring! I'd wait until May to return to Maine.
You are officially my idol. That is all.
xo
Andie
Loi, you have such a beautiful garden. It's so deserving of the feature! Can't wait to get a copy. Congrats!
Hello Loi,
They look very gorgeous and all in different garden…they are great ideas for a good Garden.
Your Outdoor Enjoyment
Loi, you are a celebrity!!! Will you please autograph my April issue? 🙂 I am so excited about this most-deserved feature!! Your garden is so incredibly gorgeous, and your talent never ceases to amaze me. Congratulations!!
XOXO,
The Glam Pad
Beautiful gardens filled with beauty but, to be able to walk amoungest your garden would be a delight. How much beauty can one heart take when gazing into your garden view. Your ornamental shrubs are much to my very likening its a design style I too could live with daily.
You my friend have a garden to love.
I must mention thank you dearly Loi for taking the time to visit me and my French Rococo mirror , it's brings much joy when I read a comment from you.
Thank you dear,
Keep inspiring your beauty and grace.
Xx
Doré
Thank you for leaving me a comment and introducing me to your lovely blog. Your garden looks wonderful and is worthy of an article in Southern living magazine. I have always wanted a white corner in the garden and have enjoyed looking at your ideas and inspiration. Sarah x
Loi,
Wow, oh wow!!!! Your gardens have always impressed me, but having them published is a whole new level. Congratulations to you and Tom for this recognition of all you have poured into your outdoor oasis!
I'm still waiting on a single daffodil to spring forth and have plans for some advances in our rear garden. Well, it's more like a back yard that I want to look more like a garden. I'm inspired!
xoxo Elizabeth
Hot damn…..I could not be more in love with your garden…….It is just stunning…all the white and texture. I got a few ideas but it is like comparing Walmart to Saks Fifth Avenue:)
I love looking at these pictures! Magnificent! Loads of hard work! Amazing Loi and Tom!
